Attic Lounge - stunning views of Delgany In August 2007 we bought a second-hand house which, being approximately 40 years old, was in need of a total refurbishment. The major issue for us was that we were both working and needed to have the house fully complete by Christmas 07. Donal had worked with Jenny before on numerous projects and suggested we contact her to see if she could take on the project. From our first meeting if was clear that this was someone with whom we both could comfortably work. She quickly got a sense of our vision, and guided us there. Her years of experience in her field meant that she had a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of the job, her professionalism and attention to detail were evident throughout. With Jenny having done all the background work prior to any meeting with her, it meant we achieved in a day what would have taken us weeks on our own, particularly in the areas of tiles, bathroom fixtures and fittings and fabrics. She developed an excellent relationship with the members of the building team and liased on an almost daily basis with the foreman, who found her a pleasure to work with. It is fair to say that Jenny made our task, which could have proved arduous and stressful, an enjoyable experience, one in which we felt fully involved yet always gently guided in the right direction. To the surprise of many of our family and friends the house was completed by Christmas and more importantly the end result was beyond our expectations. Two years on we are as happy with our home as on the day we moved in and are for ever grateful to Jenny for giving us a home which is a joy to live in. Private Residence, Dunboyne Jenny, I couldn't stop on the road today as you were walking but wanted you to know that we are delighted with the living room. After 15 years it is fair to say that it has come together, thanks to you. The hand made rugs and mirrors made it! The whole house has now connected! Happy new year to you, Joe and the family.
